The yard
The backyard is fenced on all four sides with a gate, and it is an open space usually covered in grass. A dog can be out there while you are on the deck or in the hot tub.
Wildlife and trash
Wildlife moves through the neighborhood regularly. Coyotes were getting into guest trash, so we ask that trash goes to the secure drop points instead of sitting outside the cabin. It keeps the animals out of the garbage.
If you are travelling with a dog: do not leave food or trash outside, and keep an eye on a small dog in the yard around dusk.
Around the neighborhood
Moonridge is residential and quiet, so the streets are easy for a morning walk.
Big Bear Alpine Zoo, a rescue and rehabilitation zoo in Moonridge, is a four minute drive.
The rules for dogs
Dogs are not permitted on the furniture. Assistance animals are always allowed.
